Community Technology Advisory Council

Purpose

The Community Technology Advisory Council is established to champion projects and positions, research issues and collect public input, encourage and promote affordable access to and use of information and communications technology, and promote and advise effective electronic civic engagement and e-government services. The advisory council makes recommendations on the issues of community-wide interest relating to information and communications technology. 

Initiatives

Initiatives are projects and areas of focus for the technology council. Initiative working sessions take place via video conferencing twice per month on a schedule determined by the initiative lead. Initiative leads report progress to the main technology advisory council at each monthly meeting.

Meetings

Monthly meetings for the entire council take place on the third Friday of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Members from the general public are welcome join a regular monthly session if interested. Please request an invitation to the video call link by emailing the council at least one day prior.
