The City is working to implement a new licensing & permitting platform for individual & company contractors. The new process will be 100% online. It'll allow individuals to apply, renew, & pay for licenses from home and/or work. The platform will streamline the application process, provide updates, and allow individuals to talk directly with staff. More info will be announced at a later date.
Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 24th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 21st. Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 25th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 28th. Receptacles should be out by 6:00 a.m.

Jeff White was appointed to City Council in 2015 and was re-elected to a 2nd term in 2020. Currently, Jeff serves on the Finance Committee and previously served as City Council President in 2021, Chairman of the Finance Committee, and represents the City Council on the City/County Health Board and the Visit Cheyenne Board. He has lived in Cheyenne since 1981 and graduated from Central High School in 1987. Jeff studied Business and Public Administration at the University of Wyoming—completing his MPA in 1996. He is currently employed at the Wyoming Department of Transportation. Previously in his roll at the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services he founded the Dads Making a Difference program in 2007. He is a member of First United Methodist Church and has volunteered with the Cheyenne Frontier Days Public Relations Committee for over 30 years and is a member of the CFD Heels. He has also volunteered with the Cheyenne Boys and Girls Club, United Way of Laramie County, Laramie County Library, and the Friday Food Bag Foundation. Jeff’s hobbies include running, skiing, reading, cooking and attending UW football/basketball games. He and his wife Christy enjoy doing everything they can to promote positive community and economic growth in Cheyenne.
