All City offices including the Transit Program will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24-25, 2024 for the Christmas Holiday.
Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 24th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 21st. Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 25th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 28th. Receptacles should be out by 6:00 a.m.
The City is working to implement a new licensing & permitting platform for individual & company contractors. The new process will be 100% online. It'll allow individuals to apply, renew, & pay for licenses from home and/or work. The platform will streamline the application process, provide updates, and allow individuals to talk directly with staff. More info will be announced at a later date.
Beth El Cemetery is located north of Pershing Blvd. and south of the Airport. This is a City-owned and managed cemetery. The City Clerk's Office maintains the records for this cemetery and maintenance of the grounds is through the Parks and Recreation Department. Beth El Cemetery has a beautiful pond and waterfall that was built to accent the area where the columbariums are placed.
Columbariums are located in Beth El Cemetery in Serenity Garden and are a resting place for those that choose to be cremated. Each columbarium has a capacity of holding 96 single urns or 192 companion urns. The long range plan is to have no less than 7 columbariums.
