Registration open for Youth Tackle Football & Adult Basketball leagues

The Cheyenne Recreation Division has announced that registration is open for the Youth Tackle Football and Adult Basketball leagues, each of which begins later this summer.

Youth Tackle Football

The Youth Tackle Football League is a recreational league that is open for youth in Grades 3-6.

Early registration ends Thursday, June 13, 2024, with late registration running from June 14 through July 27 (a $25 late fee will be added if space is available).

The league costs $145 per player ($125 equipment deposit). Teams will play 6 games plus playoffs with the season starting Aug. 17, 2024.

Adult Basketball

Early registration ends on July 18, 2024 for the Adult Basketball League, which is a recreational league open to those 16 and older. The late registration period will be from July 19 through Aug. 1 (an additional $50 late fee will be added to registration).

Players can register with a team or sign up as a free agent. Teams are guaranteed 10 games plus a single elimination tournament.

The cost of the league is $575/team during early registrations. The season will start on Aug. 26, 2024.
