Parking Lane Closures in Downtown Week of August 23rd

CHEYENNE – Beginning Monday, August 23^rd, parking along various downtown streets will be closed. These closures are in place through Friday, August 27^th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day. Impacted areas include:

• W. Lincolnway between Capitol Ave. and Carey Ave. (on 8/24 from 4-10pm)
• W. 17^th St. between Capitol Ave. and Carey Ave.
• W. 17^th St. between Pioneer Ave. and O’Neil Ave.
• Thomes Ave. between W. 17^th St. and W. Lincolnway
• O’Neil Ave. between W. 17^th St. and W. 18^th St.

Alternative parking is available at the Jack R. Spiker Parking Structure and the George Cox Parking Facility. Businesses in the area of parking lane closures have been notified. Businesses will remain open to foot traffic. There will be a few intermittent road closures for roughly 5-10 minutes during the week on the impacted streets listed above. These will be conducted by the Cheyenne Police Department and Traffic Safety Services. Parking lane and temporary road closures are in place for a production company performing work in the area.
