The Cheyenne Water Tank Mural Project review committee is excited to announce the selection of local artist Jordan Dean, in collaboration with CHP Paint Company, for this landmark mural initiative.
The selection process was rigorous and ensures the project will reflect the highest artistic and community standards.
With the artist and paint team in place, efforts now shift toward raising funds for this transformative, legacy project. A “Meet the Artist” and fundraising kickoff event will be announced soon. In the meantime, those wishing to support the project with an end-of-year donation can visit Discover Cheyenne’s Giving Fuel site and select the Water Mural Project.
The mural project will bring vibrant artwork to the two Board of Public Utilities water towers located just north of Storey Boulevard. This initiative is a collaborative effort between Visit Cheyenne, Discover Cheyenne, the Board of Public Utilities (BOPU), Arts Cheyenne, and the City of Cheyenne.
Funding for this project will come from a mix of sources, including private donations. For more information or to get involved, visit Arts Cheyenne's Water Tank Mural Project webpage at https://artscheyenne.com/water-tank-mural-project/ or contact Domenic Bravo at domenic@cheyenne.org.
