CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board is excited to announce the Historic Airport Fountain will be turned on for the Saturday, October 10th Cruise Night! The final Cruise Night of the year is set to support the Historic Preservation Board and the restoration of the Airport Fountain. The Historic Airport Fountain is located near the intersection of Warren Ave. and E. 8th Ave. With Phase I of the Historic Fountain restoration nearly complete, this represents a great opportunity to celebrate the preservation work thus far!
Additionally, the Historic Preservation Board will be selling limited-edition Christmas ornaments for $20.00 at the cruise parking lot. The 2020 ornaments depict the Cheyenne Union Pacific Depot with a Big Boy Steam Engine. All proceeds from ornament sales go to future phases of the restoration of the Airport Fountain.
Pick up your ornament, see the Airport Fountain in action, and Cruise the Legend!
