The City is working to implement a new licensing & permitting platform for individual & company contractors. The new process will be 100% online. It'll allow individuals to apply, renew, & pay for licenses from home and/or work. The platform will streamline the application process, provide updates, and allow individuals to talk directly with staff. More info will be announced at a later date.

CHEYENNE - Cheyenne Fire Rescue (CFR) responded to a residential structure fire in the 3100 block of Bent Ave. on Sunday, July 18th. Crews were dispatched at 10:51 p.m. and arrived on scene at 10:55 p.m.
By 11:25 p.m. the structure fire was under control. Assisting CFR on scene were members of the Cheyenne Police Department (CPD) and Black Hills Energy.
CFR crews arrived on scene to find a detached shed to be on fire and spreading to vegetation in the alley. Crews were able to quickly get the fire under control and confine it to the shed. The detached shed was unoccupied along with the adjacent home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
