All City offices including the Transit Program will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24-25, 2024 for the Christmas Holiday.
The City is working to implement a new licensing & permitting platform for individual & company contractors. The new process will be 100% online. It'll allow individuals to apply, renew, & pay for licenses from home and/or work. The platform will streamline the application process, provide updates, and allow individuals to talk directly with staff. More info will be announced at a later date.
Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 24th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 21st. Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 25th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 28th. Receptacles should be out by 6:00 a.m.

CHEYENNE – Due to nationwide driver shortages, the City of Cheyenne sanitation department will be combining three daily yard waste routes into two. This may cause daily collection services for yard waste to run later in the day and as late as 5:00 p.m.
We appreciate the public’s patience as the City adjusts accordingly to driver shortages.
