Development in east Cheyenne

As part of an annual review, the City of Cheyenne is seeking general feedback on the City’s Unified Development Code, which governs land development and processes in Cheyenne.

Each year, the Planning and Development Department asks for feedback on the UDC and accepts suggestions for revisions. This information may then be incorporated into UDC changes or updates.

City staff will present the results of collected feedback, including issues or concerns that have arisen over the last year, to the Planning Commission for discussion on Feb. 20, 2024. The Planning Commission may then direct staff to act on certain aspects of the UDC.

To learn more about the annual review, submit comments, and see past UDC revisions, visit www.cheyennecity.org/UDCreview. The deadline to submit feedback is Jan. 12, 2024.

The Unified Development Code was adopted in January 2012 and became effective in April 2012. The code is designed to be a living document that can be updated as needed. Section 1.1.7 of the UDC offers an “annual review” of the code to ensure the UDC remains grounded in and relevant to community needs and vision.
