City announces sanitation and facility schedule for July 4

Several City facilities and offices will have modified schedules for the July 4 holiday.

City Offices

City offices will be closed Thursday, July 4.

Sanitation/Trash, Recycling, and Yard Waste Schedule

Residents who would typically have trash, recycle, and yard waste pickup on Thursday, July 4, will instead have pickup on Saturday, July 6. Containers should be set out by 6 a.m.

The Solid Waste Transfer Station (220 N. College Drive), Happy Jack Landfill, the Compost Facility (3714 Windmill Road), and Household Hazardous Waste (220 N. College Drive) will be closed Thursday, July 4.

The Sanitation Division office will be closed in line with other City offices.

Cheyenne Transit Program

Cheyenne Transit Program offices will be closed Thursday, July 4. Buses will not run.

Cheyenne Botanic Gardens

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Grand Conservatory and the Paul Smith Children’s Village will be closed Thursday, July 4.

Cheyenne Aquatic Center/Johnson Pool

The Cheyenne Aquatic Center and Johnson Pool will be closed Thursday, July 4. Patrons should check the Aquatic Center website (www.cheyenneaquatics.com) for more information.

BEAST Facility

The BEAST Facility will be closed Thursday, July 4. Patrons should check the Cheyenne Rec facility page (https://cheyennerec.org/facility-rentals-city-rentals/) for more information.

Cheyenne Ice & Events Center

The Cheyenne Ice and Events Center will be open. Patrons should check the Ice and Events Center website (www.cheyenneiceandevents.com) for public skating and other scheduled events.

City Golf Courses

The Airport Golf Course and Kingham Prairie View Golf Course will be open. Patrons should check the course website (https://airportgolfclub.com/) for more information.
