The City is working to implement a new licensing & permitting platform for individual & company contractors. The new process will be 100% online. It'll allow individuals to apply, renew, & pay for licenses from home and/or work. The platform will streamline the application process, provide updates, and allow individuals to talk directly with staff. More info will be announced at a later date.

The City of Cheyenne is seeking applications for membership on the Contractor Licensing Board to fill an unexpired term vacancy with an expiration date of Dec. 31, 2025.
The Contractor Licensing Board sets qualification and examination standards for licensing of building contractors and also conducts hearings and investigations as necessary to enforce the provisions of the Cheyenne City Code. Members of the Contractor Licensing Board are appointed to four-year terms and are given priority consideration to fill the next four year term.
Interested residents can obtain an application at www.cheyennecity.org/boards. Applications must be submitted by Thursday, Feb. 1, at 5 p.m.
