City Announces Trash and Recycle Schedule for Christmas Holiday

CHEYENNE – The City of Cheyenne has announced their trash and recycle pick-up schedule for Christmas Day on Friday, December 25th.

Scheduled trash and recycle pick-up that day will instead take place on Saturday, December 26th. Please have your trash and recycle containers out by 6:00 a.m.

The Solid Waste Transfer Station Office and Household Hazardous Waste (220 N. College Dr.) will be closed on Thursday, December 24th and Friday, December 25th due to the holiday. The Household Hazardous Waste (220 N. College Dr.) will reopen on Saturday, December 26th. The Solid Waste Transfer Station will remain open for dumping on Thursday, December 24th and reopen for dumping on Saturday, December 26th.  

The Compost Facility (3714 Windmill Rd.) will be closed on Thursday December 24th and Friday, December 25th due to the holiday and reopen on Saturday, December 26th.

Happy Jack Landfill (1416 Happy Jack Rd.) will be closed on Friday, December 25th due to the holiday and reopen on Saturday, December 26th.
