All City offices including the Transit Program will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24-25, 2024 for the Christmas Holiday.
The City is working to implement a new licensing & permitting platform for individual & company contractors. The new process will be 100% online. It'll allow individuals to apply, renew, & pay for licenses from home and/or work. The platform will streamline the application process, provide updates, and allow individuals to talk directly with staff. More info will be announced at a later date.
Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 24th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 21st. Trash & recycle pick-up scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 25th, will instead be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 28th. Receptacles should be out by 6:00 a.m.

The City of Cheyenne Aquatics Division has opened the Johnson Pool for the season following repairs earlier this year.
Pool hours are:
The cost for Lap Swim is $2.50 for those aged 8-59 and $2.25 for military members or those aged 60 or older
The cost for Rec Swim is $3 for those aged 5-7, $3.50 for those aged 8-59, and $3 for military members and those aged 60 or older. Children up to 4 years old are free.
Any child 7 years old and under requires a parent/guardian in the water within arms reach at all times with a limit of 2 children under 8 to every 1 parent/guardian. A parent or guardian must be 16 years of age or older.
The repairs to the Johnson Pool this year included replacing a 480 square foot area of the pool shell, followed by sealing and painting the concrete.
