Local residents are invited to a Lunch-and-Learn to hear about the 2025-27 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) plan and the Impediments to Fair Housing Study and provide feedback on those plans.

The lunch-and-learn will be Thursday, April 10, at noon, in the DDA Conference Room on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 2101 O’Neil Ave. The City’s Housing and Community Development (H&CD) Division, which oversees the CDBG program, is hosting the event. A Zoom link is available to attend the meeting remotely.

The CDBG plan guides how the City will spend CDBG funds over the next two years. The Impediments Study explores fair housing challenges in Cheyenne.

Public feedback helps the City understand affordable housing and community development needs and align HUD funding, including CDBG funds, to those needs. Residents, organizations serving low-to-moderate-income residents, local institutions, businesses, and nonprofits are all invited to participate.

Questions about the event and Zoom information should be directed to Amy Gorbey, Community Development Manager at agorbey@cheyennecity.org or (307) 637-6255.

Auditory accessibility services can be reached through Wyoming Relay/Deaf Services: 7-1-1 or 1-800-877-9965. Language and disability accommodations can be made by contacting the City’s ADA Coordinator at 307-637-6301 or efountain@cheyennecity.org at least 48 hours in advance.
