The City of Cheyenne will receive sealed bids in the Purchasing Division, Room 309, Municipal Building, 2101 O'Neil Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001, until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 11, 2022 for the “Synthetic Turf Safety Surfacing for Romero Park and Sun Valley Park Playgrounds” project.
An OPTIONAL pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, March 24, 2022, starting at David R. Romero Park (YAC) Playground located at 1317 Parsley Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82009 and ending at the Sun Valley Park located at 12th St. and Centennial Dr., Cheyenne WY 82009.
Bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany any bid submitted. The 5% bid guarantee may be in the form a bid bond secured and issued by a surety or guaranty company authorized to do business in the State of Wyoming or a cashier’s check made payable to the City of Cheyenne.
The successful bidder shall furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid. A surety bond is required for contracts over $150,000.00.
Provisions of Wyoming Statute 15-1-113 are, by reference, made an express part of the contract documents. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding.
